Topic covers a tour of the administration area providing an overview of Content, Appearance, People, Settings, and Help.

Tour of the administration ribbon

After signing in

  • You will see an admin ribbon with tabs for:
    • Content
    • Appearance
    • People
    • Settings
    • Help

Content

  • This provides an overview of published and unpublished pages
  • There are additional tabs for:
    • Media: find uploaded files or default files provided when your site was provisioned
    • Section Templates: contains templates created and saved during a page build
    • Page Templates: find templates you or others have created to be used when adding new pages
    • Teaser Layouts: provided by default when your site was provisioned
    • Reusable Content: add or find reusable content created for use on your site

Appearance

  • Upload a favicon
  • Default styling cannot be changed
  • It isn't yet possible to customise appearance settings

Settings

  • Add and edit user roles for editors on your site

People

  • Configure:
    • header and footer
    • menus
    • taxonomy terms
    • URL aliases, and URL redirects
    • basic site settings such as site name or site's email address
    • visibility settings for your site go-live
  • Cookie Control and Google Tag are not yet configurable

  • Access further documentation and videos on the Fresco Help site
