Getting started with Fresco
This page walks you through the essential steps of setting up and editing your new Fresco website. Just follow the advice below to get started.
To access your Fresco site, open a browser tab and go to your website's homepage. Add /user to the end of the URL in the address bar, e.g.
name.site.ox.ac.uk/user
This will take you to the login page. Log in with your Oxford Single Sign On (SSO) username and password.
If you're having trouble logging in:
- Make sure you're using your correct Oxford username (e.g. abcd1234).
- Visit the SSO page for help with your account.
- See the other support options.

Start by configuring the key elements of your site:
Once the essentials are in place, you're ready to build your site. Here's what you need to know first:
- Adding a page
- Adding a new section to a page
- Adding a heading
- Adding and editing text
- Adding a media file
Once you've added some pages to your site, you can also start to set up the menu:
