Publish a page

Use the Edit pane to control whether a page is live on your site. You can switch a page between Draft, Unpublished, and Published, then Save to apply the change.

Change the page state

  1. Open the page in the editor.
  2. In the Edit pane (right-hand side), find Current state.
  3. Choose the required value: Draft, Unpublished, or Published.
  4. Click Save (top ribbon).

The page’s status updates and it appears in your Content list with the new state.

What each state means

Draft: Working copy. Not visible to site visitors. Use while you’re still writing or reviewing.

Unpublished: Offline. The page exists in the CMS but is not publicly available. Use when you need to take a live page down without deleting it.

Published: Live. The page is publicly available at its URL.

Note: Publishing makes the page live at its URL. Adding it to a navigation menu can be managed elsewhere in the Page Details pane, or in the Site settings.
